Good position, clean, lost my glasses and they found them and called me. Could do with a little updating but would have no problem staying again. A good bar and restaurant is within walking distance overlooking the lake. We ate there and it was good

Traveled up on short notice to visit an ill relative and usual places we stay are unavailable or unaffordable for our visit. We took a chance and booked this motel. For the price we didn't expect much, but reviews said it was very clean and it was, overall it was perfect for our stay.
We wanted to stay in Lanesboro as being a good midway stop for the day's travel. The Weathervane was perfect. It was easy to find and despite our late arrival we were greeted courteously. The room was clean and just what was wanted.
