We went up on short notice just before Labor Day weekend and our usual hotels were booked or super expensive. Looked at reviews stating that the room was clean and for one night we gambled and won on the Weathervane Motel.

We wanted to stay in Lanesboro as being a good midway stop for the day’s travel. The Weathervane was perfect. It was easy to find and despite our late arrival we were greeted courteously. The room was clean and just what was wanted.

“the entire experience was wonderful. our first impression was how neat and clean the entire property was. upon opening the door we immediately noticed the clean scent of the room. it not only appeared clean , it also smelled clean. spotless and neat and smelled wonderful. not that fake room deodorizer smell but clean.”

“We lost our room key and the owner was very gracious at 11:00 p.m. ,Giving us another key. Earlier on FridayWe were asked to move to another room which turned out to be en efficiency unit with stove and full size refrigerator.it was more comfortable.”

On Christmas eve i had a very good experience with this motel. Woke up too a 8 inch snowfall with my car cleared by management. No rush out of room . Not bad for $60. Merry Christmas!!!
